You have been outbid,

I placed bid on eBay and it says you have been outbid the guy/girl must be using AS or similiar service or placed the bid at a similiar time I did. ( to win the auction! ).

I was setting up my first snipe and filling out in the box "Add A New Snipe" it says: Item, Max Bid, Qty, Lead Time and then Folder. I wrote the item number in "Item box" and "Max Bid" as $200 current bid is now $128 but below it says: Bid is currently $128 and my max bid is $129? But I put in Max Bid textbox $200 not $129 anyway...

I am a bit confused and would like to know how this works. If someone place a bid with $130 he will be the highest bidder right? but when few seconds are left and I will snipe it will as put $200 as my bid or will they put $131 as my bidWink

I ask because it would sound a bit stupid to pay $70 dollars more then I didn't have to pay for the item so does AS automatically when few secs are left place $1 dollar more to snipe it! or will they bid $200 if its not even neccessary?

Please explain thanks!
