I had Auction Sniper set to bid with 4 seconds lead time, as usual, as I've used Auction Sniper dozens of times before with no problems, and what did it do? It bid with 40+ minutes to go...I had to retract the bid---it was way too high a bid to be sitting out there for 40 minutes, especially since it was a popular auction (10+ bids). What is the point of Auction Sniper if it bids 40 minutes early? Any ideas why this would have occured? It was not on a Friday during maintenance---it was Monday evening around 7pm PST. Surely there wasn't SO much 'traffic' that it had to bid forty minutes early!
And to add insult to injury, Auction Sniper then would not let me modify my bid afterwords, since as far as it was concerned, the bid was over and done with...even though it said in clear writing there "lead time 4 sec" and "Auction Ends: 42 minutes." Makes me mad...Any ideas why this may have happened?
