Will AS work if I get prompted that they might not ship to my local?

Hi there,

My first question and my first time with AS.

I live in Canada and for some reason a lot of sellers will not ship here (grrr but they will send to Alaska). I usually have my items shipped to my Texas office and then they send it up here to Canada.

My question is this - sometimes I get a message after a bid that says that the seller may not ship to my location. I then click OK and after I win the auction I inform the seller that they will be shipping to Texas anyways. I have never had a problem with a seller on this matter but I want to knopw if AS will ignore the warning message and still bid?

Hope you can help me and I look forward to my adventures with Auction Sniper.

Well no responses yet. Since this auction is closing soon and I do want this item I won't take the chance with AS and I'll just manually snipe.

If the seller doesnt ship to canada, and he has that in his eBay settings and has blocked bidding from Canada then your bid wont be placed, we get the same message from eBay that you'd get. It wouldnt work on eBay, and it wont work though our site either.

If he sells to canada then your ok.

To try and explain it better what I was saying is that I am registered in Canada, sometimes after I bid I get a warning that says something to the effect of "this seller may not ship to your location do you still want to bid?", I click OK and then I am allowed to bid. After I win I inform the seller that he will be shipping to the US anyways.

Are you saying that this warning message will prevent Auction Sniper from completing the automatic bid?
