Will AS put the max bid amount or the next highest amount

Hi,

If I am using AS and set a max amount, for example £100, and towards the end of the auction, lets say the highest bid is £50 on that item, will AS then put a one off last bid for the next incremental bid amount, lets say £55, or will it just go straight to £100

But you would still win the auction for one bid increment above the next highest bid, regardless of how high your bid was.

AS bids exactly what you tell it to - no clever stuff. It's ebay's proxy bidding that does the rest - look it up on ebay's help!
