Why not 3 free WINNING Snipes?

I have been using Auction Sniper for a little over 3 years I guess and have closed almost 800 auctions using AS. I can't even begin to imagine how many Snipes were placed to win that many. Thousands or Tens of Thousands I am sure. In that time I guess I have had about 30 or 40 missed Snipes. Not bad at all I think! For the majority of those missed (when I requested credit) I was given 3 free snipes, and for each person I have referred to AS I have received 3 free snipes. But I use the free snipes up within 5 minutes of getting them because they are used up by snipes that are free already, the losing ones. I think that AS should actually credit me with 3 free WINNING snipes. I have not been able to find any information on this in the Forum, but would like to know if the AS Admin has ever considered crediting snipes that I would have actually had to PAY for, the winners. Then, they would really be FREE snipes.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe it has been too long since I had any free snipes on my account. When I have had them in the past though, they were used up on each snipe placed, winning or losing. I always asked myself how they were free, or a credit for a snipe not placed, if it was used up on a snipe I wouldn't have paid for to begin with. Please let me know if this policy has changed, and if so, it is only better for the users of AS.

Just to clarify and to keep my name in good standing (may be too late, lol) is that the way it used to work? i.e. Free snipes were used for every snipe placed, not just the winning snipes. This must be a somewhat new policy where creditted snipes are only deducted for winning auctions. OR AM I CRAZY?
