Okay, so I do my research about bidding on reserve items - spent a lot of time lurking here last night....

I researched the seller's other reserve sales and had a pretty good idea what the reserve would be.

I entered one bid with a lead of 9 seconds for $45.00 (which I am positive was the reserve). Then, I entered a second bid for $51.77 (just an arbitrary amount) with a lead of 5 seconds.

When all was said and done, I was the highest bidder - but the reserve had not been met. The bidding history said that my first bid was $41.00 AND that my second bid was $41.00. That's just not right......

So the auction ended, and my bids just didn't seem right - WHAT HAPPENED?

Auction Sniper bids much like you work normally, and when there is a reserve on an auction, we cannot force your maximum bid to meet the reserve price. If you are interested in buying the item, but the reserve was not met, we suggest you contact the seller. More times than not they will be happy to sell it at the reserve than have to relist it.
