Another caution, Glen – don’t depend on AS sending you an email if the current auction price is higher than your snipe because there’s also a delay on that. AS *will* send you an email, but sometimes it’s not timely.

Of course, a fanatic-sniper will say that one should ALWAYS bid their max and not change it, therefore it’s not important if you are notified that your snipe is too low, but those snipers don’t live in the real world.
AND, one more caution – if you haven’t already done this, TURN OFF THE DAMN INSTAMAIL OPTION! (On “My Snipes”, click on “Modify Account”, scroll down to “InstaMail”) – assuming you don’t want the seller notified that you are using a sniping service.
