My first snipe went through! There was another sniper but my bid happened to be higher by their bid and there wasn't enough time left for them to respond. (Their bid went in 15 seconds before close, and mine went in 13 seconds before close.) What confused me, though, is that I set an 8 second delay, and my bid was actually placed and recorded by ebay 13 seconds before close. That seemed odd because the ending time was 2:58 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) Is this normally a busy time?

Fact is, it worked, and I'm a happy camper. Thanks everyone, for the input from my last post. Auction Sniper is very cool. No more refreshing the screen every 5 seconds trying to determine the exact correct moment to place the bid!!!!! Thank you AS! 2 more freebies to go!

to A/S and

on your first win. The quote below is from Mrs. M. regarding eBay's busy times.

quote:
I add 10 to 15 seconds on busy Ebay traffic times such as Sunday between 5 and 8:30 PST PM and on the hour, half, and quarter.
Other members can explain more accurately than I re busy times.
