Some of you might already know this wholesaling trick. Just recently I opened my ebay store and it sure was a success.I did about a week of research on item to sell on ebay and found an item that nobody sells.
I immidiately contacted the maunufacturer of the product and to my surprise they willingly agreed for me to sell their product.I was selling it left and right and for about a week I was able to make enough profit to be able to order more products from them and triple up on my order.
I was making it big for about 2 months, was able to put enough money aside for another venture.
Just on my last order I have mentioned to the person taking my order that Im selling it on ebay.BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now i just listed some of those items and did my usual check to see that i properly listed those items,Guess what? now theres 2 of us selling that same item and the other one is the manufacturer. They sell it $0.25 cheaper and free shipping too,i was so bummed.
Learned another lesson. NEVER EVER mention to the manufacturer where youre selling the product your buying from them.
I know that most of this manufacturers are already selling on ebay but theres still a handful out there who doesnt really care about ebay,I guess they make ennough selling it on their own website.

What a Bummer W.I.A!!!

I would love to find that niche market that so far isnt tapped on ebay...but no luck so far.

I became the distributor for a well known brand over here and they wanted to pull their items when they found I was selling them on ebay.

Because of no overheads, I could way undersell their retail outlets by ALOT.

I can now sell via an online store, but not on ebay. Confused
My hubby is a programmer, so he has designed a selling website that uses a paypal checkout system. Once it becomes more popular, we will probably get a merchants license for credit card purchases.

We created it to sell items from about a dozen different sellers at once, so now have a lively little hub.

Your main problem is getting traffic into your site, thats what ebay's big seller is...where else can you get thousands and thousands of people browsing at any one second?

So, I hit a couple of forums that target the audiences I want to sell to.

Its fun, my any website/forum is such hard work in the early days.

You need to ensure you hit the search engines and get your site in there, then you will get some traffic.
Thanks Lexie.please let me know.

Im still going to advertise on ebay and rent a store maybe just for that reason.

Im also thinking on registering on Froogle and Google and a bunch of other search engine. I found a real neat little website that gives me all kinds of tool to do that. its even got a program where I can check for mispelled item thats being auctioned here and abroad.

Been doing a lot of research and I ws surprised to find out that theres a lot of website that offers such great services for free.

Now that I have a few ideas and tools at hand it should make selling a bit easier.Ive always done things on ebay the hard way.
