When eBay performance is bad, does this affect AS?

This afternoon, I've noticed that eBay sites are running really slowly (well, co.uk and com are, can't speak for the rest). All my othre apps are fine so it's clearly an eBay problem.

What I want to know if whether, when this kind of thing happens, it affects AS's ability to place a snipe and therefore should they be placed manually. Don't have any snipes set for today, just curious.

Rumour has it that AS monitors response and adjusts lead times accordingly...

I think this problems occurs temporarily and solves automatically so I never worry for it.

No it is not temporary. It occurs frequently. I don't understand how will it get solved.
