I hit the update prices button, and after three minutes of inaction (that means that the page failed to refresh or update the prices), I closed the browser and reopened and signed back into AS. That is when AS displayed that the auction that indeed ended incredibly now had over 5 hours remaining! The auction was over! I accessed the EBay site and the auction had ended with no bids AT ALL! I checked AS two hours later and it STILL shows the closed auction as active.

I filed a support report immediately. I also notified the seller that I had intentions of bidding but this POS AS service failed to fire. Since he had no bids, we agreed that I would pay what I had set my maximum bid at. He sold it to me. No thanks to AS. I have money in my account that I will be wanting a refund on. Screw me once, shame on you...there will not be a second time.

Wow, nothing like overreacting, eh? AS is a great service. You had some sort of glitch, the nature of which is as yet undetermined, and you call AS a "POS" blah blah blah.

Instead of, oh, having a tiny bit of patience and trying to figure out what the problem was. I mean, obviously thousands of happy AS users must be just smoking crack or something, right?

Just assume he is from one of AS competitors until he proves otherwise.

None of my snipes have failed to go off this year and I have used AS for several hundred transactions with no glitches whatever.

I can only think these people are either in difficulty because they don't understand how to do it, or they are from the competition.

Time I think for AS to take a hard line.
Check if the person is genuine.
If in doubt remove post.
