What's the deal with them sending email from "me"?

A seller in an auction sent me a copy of an email sent by Auction Sniper as though I wrote it and over my "signature." Isn't this illegal? Is it in the terms of service? I'm unhappy about people sending mail to sound as though it came from me. Anyone else have this problem?

You checked the box InstaMail asking AS to send these responses automatically to your seller.
To turn it off go to modify my account and uncheck InstaMail
