What *is* the little white box for?

The little white box next to each auction...

What exactly does it do?

I can cancel or modify bids whether or not it is checked (I tried it out).

I may check the tutorial again. Maybe I missed it there.

Since I can snipe without using it, I did not really care what is it for, but today I have a moment to wonder about it

The white box is for you to check if you create folders or groups to organize your snipes.

Simpler than doing your taxes!

Well, this explains why I have not had a need to use it! I am not organized enough to use folders, here or anywhere else!
