What is going on with the Search engine?

If I use the same search criterion on AS as I do on ebay, on AS I am getting only what new since my last AS search.

Previously, when I searched using as I'd get the same items as I get when I use ebay - that is ALL items matching the criterion, not just the items since my last search.

If I create a new search I get one page of items, not all items. This never used to happen.

I know we're blaming everything that doesn't work right in AS on ebay's format change. Is that the excuse for this too?
