What happens if I place a snipe if I already placed a bid?

What happens if I place a snipe on an object if I already placed a normal eBay bid?

I just started this snipe-thing and forgot about it before placing my bid the normal eBay way. Whatt happens if I now place a higher snipe bid?

Is there I risk that I will snipe myself since the first bid wasn't placed as a snipe?

Only increases your proxy bid.

Only if you're winning the auction by less than an increment.
