What happened to my lead time?

AS monitors traffic and response times between eBay and AS. During heavy traffic times AS will adjust your lead time to assure your bid gets placed and processed before auction end. This is very noticeable Sunday evenings, but can happen any time, especially on exact quarter hours.

In AS's opinion, your snipe at 7 seconds would not have made it to eBay before auction ended and would not have been accepted.

Not the perfect solution, but better early than not at all.

FYI this auction ended at Sunday at 17:15.00. Looks like AS could use a little fine tuning. Placing a bid 35 seconds before the end would allow a bidder to see it and bid higher.

JWells, that is a VERY busy traffic time for Ebay!!

If AuctionSniper has to lengthen the lead time that much, be assured that it's going to be very difficult for someone else to get a manual snipe in response to the A/S placed bid.

Besides, much worse to miss placing a snipe than to place one early.
