What happened if there is no bid ?? HELP !!

What would happen if there is no bid on the item I want to AS on ? For example... this item got no bid with starting price $0.99 if I set the AS max bid price $15. Auction end with no other bids except mine AS bid would the price be $0.99 or $15 ? please help me figure this out thanks.

Think of proxy bidding on ebay. You load 1 max bid in, same with AS. Difference is AS fires this bid at the time you have specified ( or AS has adjusted to given peak times etc), the advantage being that your proxy bid is not sitting there being nibbled away at as with ebay. Therefore if there are no other bids and starting price is 0.99 that is the price you will get it for.
