RE theis auction: 1092061554
AS says I won this auction w/o stating a price, but EB says I didn't. My maximum bid was considerably higher than the bid that won. Can someone tell me what this is all about?

eBay does maintenance every Friday from 1am-3am. Their site is completely down during this time and no bidding is allowed either directly on their site, or through AuctionSniper. 
eBay has many automated ways for sellers to start listings and somehow this seller started his auction while eBay was down the prior week.
This is a FANTASTIC way to pick up very good deals on eBay. We are modifying our systems to place you bids at 12:59 am just before eBay goes down. However we haven't added this feature yet.

Any reason why we could not do that math ourselves and just enter the total time in seconds. In other words if it closed at 2 AM we could set up a snipe for 3610 seconds?
Now can you do a search for items closing at that time??? hehehehe

Ya you can do that and it will work. Hopefully we'll add that code soon to place the snipes at 12:59 automatically.
This is a great way to get a good deal. Search for items at about 11pm that are ending in the next 3 hours on a Thursday night. You'll find the stuff that is ending during eBays downtime.

Snipes set to be placed between 1 and 3am PST on Fridays will now be sniped at 12:59am PST -- 1 minute before eBay goes down for their weekly maintenece.
