Webtv limited functionality

We have no way of testing and dont plan on getting a webtv and testing it just for the 1/3 of 1% that use it. That time is better spent making things better for the other 99.65% of users on the site."

As to why your cancellation of an auction didn't "take" with AS, I suspect that it was because you tried to cancel in the final two minutes of the auction. At the two-minute point AS has your bid queued up and you can't change or cancel your snipe from there on in. Or it may have had something to do with webtv; I don't know a whole lot about that except that it's considered inferior to a PC.

Go ahead...make the jump to a 'puter. Do it sooner rather than later. You can get a Dell lashup, monitor and all, for $499 nowadays -- cheap at double the price.
