That was fun. My average error (miss) was 196 miles (shouldn't that have been in kilometers?), or something close to that. Don’t know if that’s good or bad for a Yank. In my defense I intentionally put Great Britain in the middle of Nebraska (which was no easy task) just to see if any Brits would pop up and scold me - so far so good, but I did have my pop-up blocker activated.

Got a 38 out of 45; not bad seeing as how I only got around 16 or so doing the 50 states.

20-some out of 45 -- and that was the 2nd time thru! Became more like a jigsaw puzzle, became easier as fewer pieces missing. What's with the dots-in-a-square? Are they actually countries or cities?

36/45 - avg 29 miles. Some fairly obvious - most of mine were a bit out in Eastern Europe, but if people do not know where, say, France or Italy are, there is really no hope!

Jabber - if you mean places like Monaco, Andorra and San Marino, thay are countries, but very small ones. Luxembourg is also a country, and its capital city is also called Luxembourg - lovely place and cheapest petrol in Europe
