Username/password invalid?

I just lost an auction I really wanted, my snipe was not placed & when I checked with AS the reason it gave was invalid username/password? I don't understand as I had to sign in to place the snipe & everything was fine...I have some other auctions I would like to snipe, but I don't know if I can? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just looked at another auction I have a snipe on & is says Warning, your username/password might be incorrect! Help! What is going on???

Did you change your username or password on eBay? If so, go to "Modify Accounts" on the main AS snipe page and change your username/password there as well. AS doesn't automatically make a note of such changes.

Hi Steve, no I did not change anything. I just went back, cancelled my snipes & put them in again & so far everything looks fine....makes me a little nervous though. Maybe I goofed it the first time, but it let me place the snipes & said nothing about invalid password/username. I don't know...

It's possible you just transposed some letters or numbers in entering your username/password the first time. You can always do a manual snipe on an item for the same or a slightly lower amount than your AS snipe, a bit earlier in the auction than your snipe is set for. If both bids go through, you're in the clear.

If you log into our site with the same username & password you log into eBay with then you are fine.

If not, log in on our site, click the Manage account link just below the My Snipes tab, and change your eBay username and password to match eBay.

Is there a way to "test" the user id and password prior to bid time? It would be a nice feature - have AS open a new window and login to eBay to be sure it gets it right.

On "My Snipes" tab, try "Import Wizard". This will bring up all the auctions your watching on your "My ebay" page. It wouldn't let you unless the info is correct.
