Generally, auto refresh should used to update tabular data that reflect changing real time information. This is an AS shortcoming that I am sure will be addressed in the near future. What you want to do is try a manual refresh by clicking 'Refresh' on the IE toolbar or by clicking the F5 function key. If that does not refresh the data, try clicking the Ctrl and F5 keys simultaneoulsy (Ctrl+F5), resulting in either Cache-Control: no-cache or Pragma: no-cache.
Hold down shift key, press Refresh button.

That forces a refresh in IE web browser. Perhaps the other methods above will work as well. I never have these problems so I wouldn't know though. Between the several computers I work on and have at home just dont see it. But I also use Shift+Refresh frequently. Or close all my web browsers, or sign out, etc.
