Unable to verify ebay username (official support?)

Hi,

I've previously had no problems with my signin, but yesterday my auto-snipes cut out with errors:

AuctionSniper Notification!
We were unable to verify your eBay username and/or password.
Please check your account preferences to make sure they are correct.

I tried amending my details by reinputting my username/password, but it still does not register. I've confirmed that they're correct - as they're used when I make manual bids on ebay.

That happened to me a few months back.what happened was ebay put in another login on my username ,Its like a bunch of numbers that i need to type in after ive already typed my username and password. If thats the case in yours AS cant do anything about it until EBAY removes that.

That appears to be exactly what's happened.
Am I charged for failed snipes by auctionsniper? (do you know?)

If I am - and I place quite a few bulk snipes on a regular basis - then this means that randomly, I'm wasting a lot of cash because of these fails... best case scenario, I've wasted a lot of my time setting the snipes up in the first place

Nope, nor are you charged for snipes on auctions that you don't win. You only get charged for winning snipes.

That's what's happening to me as well

How long is it before eBay removes that crap from your account? Is there a way to speed it up?

I have no idea how long it took Ebay to take mines off but from what ive noticed is that is if you have an unpaid balance on your account they will put this on your login.

WIA, you sir are a geeneyus. Paying off my eBay account instead of letting them suck it off my Visa seems to have done the trick
