Two auctions lost though it says "Snipe Placed"

I'm confused, and rather frustrated. I've been using auction sniper for like a year under several of mine and my husbands eBay IDs and sone really well, but the last week or so I've lost two auctions even though the snipe is showing up in my list as "Snipe Placed", it's not on the eBay bid list and was much higher than the winning bid :-( And then the next snipe will work fine. The one I just lost was 3658430848 and my high bid was $37.99 with like a 10 or 11 second lead time. The other was the first snipe in a bid group (2982684695 $73.99) and also showed snipe placed and then it erased the others in the bid group as if it had won it. HELP!
