okay ive been bidding on these concert tickets for a few dayz and i keep losing. i just found out this whole sniper deal and yesterday i tried it and the guy beat me by only $3.00. okay now say i bid like, $175 and im in the lead and i did the sniper thing and put in like $190 for the last second. does that mean if someone bids like $180 does the sniper bid $190 for me or just enough to where i win so that I dont have to go all the way up to $190? (these are all hypothetical numbers).

Not strictly right. AS will bid what you say. On your numbers it will pit in a bid of $190. eBay will then work out whether your bid is valid (at least one whole increment higher tha the displayed high bid amount), whether it is higher than the actual bid amount (if not the existing bidder will win) and if it is higher it will calculate what the winning amount should be (on your numbers $180 plus one increment).
