Mmh.. you are saying the other auction is nicer? ... looking @ the last proxy bid placed by e.bay for cvinke seems that cvinke typed a max bid similar to what I finally paid. But, I think you remember, this auction is exactly the shot not placed by AS for me.

But, you know, finally that's not a problem, I placed a lot of P232W in a Bid Group and I forgot searching and lurking on e.bay every day. I really paid what I wanted to pay (or less...) not wasting my time, eating a pizza and looking soccer on TV when auction closed

I dont care about the snipe. I want one of those monitors!

This monitor appear often on e.Bay USA with significative lower prices. The problem for me are int'l shipping charges on a 13 kg and high dimensional weight display. I think in some weeks will close under 1700$ 'cause Sony is changing the price. But WATCH OUT it's and item many time used for FRAUDS and I've seen a lot of these auction closed by e.bay.
