No, I hadn't any problems with PayPal.
I did have a double subscription glitch which was (as you suggested) very quickly sorted out by the AS Support team - 10/10

I read about AS in one of my Yahoo Group mailings - sorry I don't recall which one!

The first three snipes are free, so you would not have given any credit card or PayPal info. If you do not like the service (and you will, believe me), then you simply do not bid beyond that. After that, you give a cc number and your card gets billed semi-monthly or so, depending on your balance. If you use PayPal (which is what I do), just snipe until your balance runs out. I find that $20 last me several months.
