Not sure how I could have lost this auction. About 10-minutes before the end the bid was $127.00. My snipe was for $135.00. I then decided to change my snipe to $152.05. When the auction ended the winning bid was $150.00 (someone else won) and my snipe registered $152.05 and still said it was too low. Anybody got any suggestions????????

Sammie...(edited...) Thanks for the reply, and to the forum!

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. AS is usually fast to correct any problems, so not worried yet. I think they have been working on the page some more. There was a minor bug yesterday that poped up and got fixed. They should be back to working soon.

bid increments, Why do they have 'em?
You're right, if all increments were one cent, all higher bids would be valid, and the highest bid would always win. (no more higher bids that are 'to low')

But... can you imagine an auction ending at $500? The number of bids could be in the hundreds or thousands, each bidder raising the price by 3-4 cents at a time.
