Odd? The person doesn’t seem to care about eBay, but knew to capitalize Bay.

I am still blown away by what is available on ebay, and how smoothly it works.

On another forum I read, I often see people talking of not getting any sales on other auctions...but they hate eBay, where they had sales, because they charge too much!

I see a lot of aucions advertising free listings, cheaper closing % , etc. I have tried them, but never given up eBay. It is just hard to argue with ebay's success.

The programming pressures must be very unusual. With all ebay’s users, any bug, no matter how obscure, is going to be discovered. With ebay’s volume of sales/transactions, any down time due to a programming bug can’t look good on the programmer’s resume. Amazon might have similar programming problems, but they aren’t near as time sensitive (no last second snipes). And, Amazon has control over what is entered, where as ebay has all these sellers entering auctions. ebay must be at the bleeding edge, but maybe there are other sites that have comparable issues.

Well, here is one for the books. A guy won my item and then emailed me. He wants to use the item for a special need and will I 100% warranty it if he uses it for that. I mean he wants his money and shipping back if it does not work for what it was not designed for. If I don't want to, just cancel his winning bid! (and pay the fees for the listing)
