I just wanted to take a moment and gloat over my four--count'em--four AS-sponsored snipes today. All went off like clockwork, and the competition didn't know what hit them! Big Grin

In three of the four auctions, there were bidding wars going on. Two of these auctions involved dueling eBay newbies, who kept nickel-and-diming each other. I was fairly confident that AS would handle those situations. Another involved veteran eBayers, but still warring with one another over miniscule amounts. I won all of these auctions for less than twenty dollars apiece! Red Face AS RULES!!!!!!!

Rick, I think the number of good-news-bad-news posts is immutably linked to eBay's problems or lack thereof. In any case, I've made a rule for myself that anybody else is free to follow or not: If a complaint (as opposed to a question) appears in the Auction Sniper Support section of the Forum I leave it for the AS support folks to respond. A complaint in any other section will get only a suggestion to file a support case, with the URL for AS Support.
That's why I chose this folder. I wished to leave support open for true support cases, and this was not really a question or a newbie matter, so here I placed it.

Many of our one- or two-post whiners place their complaints in multiple folders, anyway, which gives the impression of even more complaints than there actually are. Roll Eyes
I did it again today: in two auctions there were bidding wars going on in the final minutes, both over miniscule increments. I had set my snipe well in advance and swooped out of the sky to take the prize from the feuding cheapskates, neither of whom were newbies! They did not know what hit them!!!! I just don't understand this nickel and dime mentality--it wasn't that my max was THAT far above theirs, but I didn't waste time like they did. Razz
Chatter, I think -- no, I know-- that "feuding cheapskates" nickel-and-dime each other because it's a form of one-upmanship. They get bragging rights: "Nyah, nyah! I beat you!" It's a big part of their eBay experience and enjoyment. Meantime, they're both easy pickings for an experienced sniper like you. Wink
