I really need to win this snipe at exactly 6pm on sunday. I have read here lead times should be 8-9 sec to 30 seconds(?)

I am not sticking my neck out on this one! Lol! Ebay has been too crazy lately. Best to read the archives and decide or ask Sara what she thinks.

I believe you are more likely to lose due to a snipe not placed without enough lead time or placed with a limit too low than by being outbid at the last second. If in doubt take a longer lead time and if you like the item, use a reasonably high price.
