Suggestion: Winning Snipe Cancels All Other Snipes

And there's two common mistakes with bid groups:
1) Bid groups don't reset themselves after you use them. If later on you add more snipes, they won't get placed. Best to delete a bid group folder after you've used it.
2) And you should have at least 10 seconds between auctions for them to work.

Nope! Bad advice on the 10 seconds. See the following from AS faq's:

Can I add two or more bids with the same auction ending time to a bid group?

Sorry, no. It is impossible for us to detect to see if you have won a snipe, and then cancel the rest, if they end at the same time. You should allow at least 30 seconds between bid group items to give us enough time to determine if you've won the first item.

A bid group folder ceases to work after one item in it has been won. None of the remaining bids in the folder, or any bids added subsequent to the win, will be placed. If you want to bid on any or all of the other items, transfer them to a new bid group folder.

Not quite right. You can set a bid group to win more than one, but whatever number you've set, once that number has been won the bid group folder will cease to work.

Thank you, Andrew. I stand (or rather, sit) corrected. I don't use bid groups myself since very rarely is there more than one of anything I'm interested in available on eBay. The point I wanted to make, which I believe is still correct, is that you can "use" a bid group folder indefinitely, but it remains active only until the pre-set number of wins has been reached.
