I was just adding a snipe, you know what it’s like - toggling windows between various eBay and AS browser sessions, you're copying and pasting eBay auction ID's, etc

Let's face it, it's not too onerous but, I just thought how about - You've causally browsing through endless eBay pages of 'not quite your thing' and you see your dream item, your head starts spinning, you must act quickly – simply highlight the eBay auction ID, right mouse click, up pops a 'Snipe!' menu. Click to select, a new (small) browser window appears showing you the details and photo of the eBay item and a semi-completed form for you to add info to the snipe. Ah, the relief.

It’s my homage to 'Blog this!', blogger.com put out quite a while ago.

I don't have the tenacity to start writing it - just thought I'd throw the idea out there.

Does this excite anyone else, or do I just need to get out more.

Thanks - It looks like it does part of what I was thinking but excludes the ability to use highlighted auction ID numbers.

Although this appears as a minor difference, it would actually lead to siginificanly fewer clicks - eg You're looking at your 10 watched eBay items which you decide to snipe. By highlighting and sniping you get 10 less browser sessions needing to be loaded than the current method. Luckly I'm on broadband but for a modem user, that could be significant.
