You might read my little story here... it explains both why AS can't do things perfectly, but also helps show why AS is better at sniping than any human could be... and better at it than any less-popular sniping system.

Bottom line: an automated system that's constantly interacting with eBay will have a much better understanding of bid timing than your or I could hope to have.
