Sniping Sotheby Ebay Auctions?

Why is it that I can't place my AS for an item listed at an Ebay Sotheby Auction. Not a "live auction" but just a regular ebay auction? Just curious?? Thanks

Veronica, it may have something to do with the requirement that bidders at a Sotheby auction must register with Sotheby first.

We dont support sniping there I dont think.

And actually they're ending their relationship with eBay due to poor sales I think I read so sotherbys.ebay.com will be going away anyways. So I'm kinda glad we didnt put all the work into being able to snipe there, only to have it be shutdown.
