Sniping NON-EBAY auctions

I have seen this kind of question posed before on these forums, not particularly for the site you have mentioned but still requesting the same possibilities.

You could try it as a suggestion to AS, however their response I dare suggest would be "not at this present time". Good idea though.

You might be correct on the software being relatively easy, however I would think that you would need many different servers (AS already has several servers just for bidding on ebay) to do as you suggest....and maybe it might not be cost effective.

AG, thanks for teh reply... I guess EBAY really is the 8oo lb gorilla, since thre's so little interest / response.

I didn't mean that **I** would be able to do the programming (g), just that AS might / could. I also figured somebody from AS probably glances at these threads once in a while...

Sorry heiko...I wrote this late at night & was tired, was referring to AS doing the programming & buying servers etc not you.

Yes ebay is definately the big gun, have seen many auction sites try to compete, some starting up here in OZ but just cannot get completely off the ground, and if they do look like they would succeed guess who buys them out
