I just put in a snipe on an item from the UK, auction is stated as 11 GBP (17.21 U.S). The snipe I wanted to do was $28.++ . The bid went in, auction still said 11, so I changed mine to around what I'm willing to pay in US dollars (22 GBP) as I was unwilling to pay 28 pounds for the item..... Anyone know how to do this correctly, or how to make an auction in other currency convert on the bid?

Cheryl, eBay does that for you automatically. If the auction's currency is stated as "GBP" then your bid, whatever it is, will be in Great Britain Pounds. (So you were correct in changing your bid from $28 to £22.) Other currencies eBay trades in include Canadian dollars ("C"), Australian dollars ("AU"), and German deutschmarks ("DM"). The currency information and the US dollar equivalency is displayed in red italic print next to the current high bid.

Good luck! Smile
