Sniping blocked by seller?

It wouldn’t matter to AS. Perhaps the seller doesn’t want to sell in the U.S.

Would be nice if ebay allowed a bidder to “test” a bid to see if they are blocked, or at least show in the auction what can cause a bid to be blocked.

I have 100% postive feedback with more than 80. I had emailed the seller previous and asked if they would ship to me and they said yes and quoted me a shipping rate. I have now gone to the buyer block preferences and still have no idea why I was blocked as sniping was not listed there.

A seller can’t automatically block a sniper on ebay.


This is a wild stab at the problem, but if the seller requires Paypal payment, have you registered your ebay ID on your Paypal account?

yup, I have I'm stumped

I ran an auction recently for US & Canada only. A guy from Spain asked if he could bid & I said OK. He e-mailed me later saying his bid had been blocked. I had neglected to edit my auction details to include Europe. This is possibly what happened in your situation.
