hey hey!
Can i ask a question?

Assuming the minimum bid to put is $10.
I put the maximum sniping bid at $15.
Somehow, someone managed to bid at $11.50

any idea what will my final (sniped) bid value be?
is it 11.55 (or something very close to $11.50)
or is it just $15 (just taking the maximum) ??

Do read the AS help and eBay's help on Proxy bidding.

AS will place a bid for you at $15 at which point ebay's proxy system takes over, bidding at the next increment above the other's max so, in this case, although your bid was placed as $15, you'll be in at $12 (assuming that the next increment is 50c more and the other bidder hasn't place a proxy bid higher that $11.50).

So, there's no Rocket Science - AS just bids once at your max bid and remember, it's not the last bid that wins, it's the highest!
