Will my snipe work in a private auction? Since you can't see who is bidding, how will the snipe know if I am currently winning the item or not?

It always snipes (it has to) even on non-private

It could figure out for billing purposes if they
really wanted. You can tell if you win private
auctions (if you're logged in and the winner).

We charge. For both Adult items, and private auctions. If not that's a bug, but we can tell you won.
During the auction you probably will not get outbid emails and such though because I dont think we can check those. Only after the auction is over can we tell.
