I live in Australia and am using Sniper for an item that ends on Friday Night (Australia time).I was wondering if the time difference would matter when Sniper is doing Maintenance which I believe is every Thursday night.

Last I heard it was Thurday nights between 11:00PM Pacific Time and 1:00AM, same as ebay's. But, always best to check with support: http://www.auctionsniper.com/help/support/
