Snipe was higher than what Auct Snipe submitted | Auction Sniper

Have used Auction Snipe for several years and have been very impressed. Today I had a weird experience so hopefully someone out there can explain.

- I had a snipe of $511 in place.
- Auction had a reserve that had not been met
- Auction was at $304 1 minute before end
- In last few seconds my snipe of $511 "should" have been entered
- The auction ended with me as high bidder ($381) HOWEVER I did not win as Reserve Not Met.

Now is it possible that even my $511 snipe was to low and eBay protected that bid and only displayed the next highest bid of $381??
