Bid too low; you got me. Next increment would be $121. Your snipe should have been placed. Hopefully you understand that your bid might not be enough to win (hate that word) this auction, but it's beyond me why AS said your bid was too low.

As a member of the "B", or "C" team, I wait for the "A" team to provide something better.

Sorry I couldn't help you. Frown
Maybe this could be copied or printed out:

Current price
$0.01 - $0.99 = $0.05
1.00 - 4.99 = 0.25
5.00 - 24.99 = 0.50
25.00 - 99.99 = 1.00
100.00 - 249.99 = 2.50
250.00 - 499.99 = 5.00
500.00 - 999.99 = 10.00
1000.00 - 2499.99 = 25.00
2500.00 - 4999.99 = 50.00
5000.00 and up = 100.00

This is the one downside. If the other bidder
really only bid what the auction closed at, then
you might have won it if you placed your bid before the proxy bidding had rachetted up.
If the minimum bid at the time you place your
bid is low, you can win by less than a full bid
increment over the next highest.

For example:

Bidding starts at $10.00.
Bidder A proxy bids $100.00
EBAY shows the bid at $10.
Bidder B only needs to bid $10.40, but say he
bid $100.01.
When the auction closes it will sell for $100.01.

If however some other bidders drive the price
up to $99, the bidder can't come in at the last
minute and bid $100.01 as it doesn't clear the
minimum bid.
