*Not in time* usualy means that the ebay servers didnt respond to your snipe, there may have been too much lag.

Usually AS adjusts your lead time to compensate for this lag.

If you use the link provided by Rick, you may get a free snipe for your trouble, not much of a consulation prize, but its better than a kick in the bum.

Chin up, if the boots sold for $10 this time, they will again, just set up a bid group and stick the boots in there until you get another pair for a bargain price
