Snipe 'Not In Time'

Hi,
I'm fairly new to auction sniper but have been very pleased the few times I've used it. However I've just lost an item with the status claiming 'not in time'. My max was $31.00 and it went for $20.41. I used a 5 second lead time. It ended 12/14/2003 3:27:01 PM. Any advice would be appreciated.

to our forum!. Sunday is a very busy time. In my opinion, I would not snipe that close. Try adding at least 10 seconds to that on Sunday, on the hour, quarter, half and other busy traffic times.

One quick question.
When you say on the hour, quarter past, half past does that rule apply to any hours in particular or on any day of the week or just weekends?

When a seller lists a product, he can choose to have it started and ended at these times. It makes it busy. I usually leave mine at about 8 seconds unless it is on Sunday. That is MY opinion, not science of AS. But, it has worked for me. During busy times like 5:30 to 8:30 pst,Sunday, I add 10-15 sec. to it.
