Snipe list should show next to max bid the sum of maxbid+p&p in brackets non-bold

This should be obtained from seller when you originally import snipe but on both this window and the modify snipe window it should be an editable text box in case u need to modify for paypal fees/international shipping/VAT.

I tend to have a max price inc everything I am willing to pay, some sellers sell cheap but with big p&p (which puts me off) others are more decent. I currently use the comment field, however it would be useful for when you change your max bid, otherwise you have to change this field to (showing total is more useful than showing p&p), also auctionsniper can import the value initially automatically.

Nah - they're just employees with attitude - I've said it before - I have fired people for similar traits. One of them closed a case on me the other day because of implied swearing! I wonder how many customers, with slightly thinner skin than me, they have lost due to this AS culture? Razz

That said, I had to get a US company to ring me yesterday who claim to operate internationally. When no call came it turned out that the operative had never rung outside her State (North Carolina) but she claimed to have heard of England! I had to tell her exactly what to dial (01 44 12735 56554 <-- try it!) At the end of the call (I was making quite a sizeable purchase) she didn't say goodbye before hanging up. Now I know that us Brits are renowned for over-the-top good manners but that's just bad manners on her part. I've noticed a similar attitude on emails from US buyers and sellers (some, not all) so maybe it's an American thing, not just AS?! Roll Eyes That said, I have met (via ebay) some lovely Americans so you're not all bad. Feel free to let me know if I'm right or wrong! Wink

I would say I am a little surprised, R2, but it takes all kinds to make a world!

I live in North Carolina. I find most people here to be very gracious. And, in fact, even when you pay for something at McDonald's, you are told to have a blessed day or the like! I also have found most people in England to be very polite. Smile
R2, that was true of most schools that I attended. And, America is a big place, I know. I must say schools are not all like that. There are no metal detectors in Naples, Fl., in Crossville Tn., in Murfreesboro, Tn.,nor in New Bern, North Carolina. I have had many children in my home from school and from Church. I found them polite and friendly.
R2 I have to agree....

My hubby doesnt sign off on the telephone and it drives me nuts!!! I witnessed it heaps while we were visiting, no "Goodbye" or anything either. Its weird.

Now I know not everyone is like that, but obviously its not a one-off thing.

My inlaws even laughed at me for being overly *friendly* to the shop staff etc whilst we were over there.
