Hiya,
I am not familar with the AOL toolbar, but this may help anyways.

If you go up to your toolbar and right click, does it say "Lock Toolbar"? if so, make sure that is unticked.

Does AOL have a "links" tab? if you have had Snipe it Now there before its prolly under your links tab. Thats where mine disappears to on IE every now and then. Click the Links Tab and if its there, just drag it back to the toolbar.

Ohh OK - I found the AOL instructions..... >>>AOL Snipe it Now<<<

Sorry I am not much help Frown

I'm making some progress as I have finally succeeded in placing the SNIPE IT icon on my AOL favorites tool bar. However, when I am looking at an item I want on Ebay and invoke the SNIPE IT icon, the appropriate box appears.....but the auction number is not filled-in. I have to go through the copy and paste bit. I know it can be done because I had it working smoothly at one time. Your counsel would be appreciated. Ed.
Hi, I don't use AOL, but this was copied from the instructions.
quote:
When you find the item you want, click Snipe! from "Favorites". When our "Snipe it Now" window comes up, copy (CRTL+C) the item number and paste it (CTR-V) into the Item # text box, enter all the information regarding your snipe, and finally click the "Snipe It!" button.
Looks like you're stuck with copy and paste for AOL.

You can still load and use Internet Explorer after connecting via AOL. Could that be what you remember from before?
