Try turning off your popup blocker. If that does not work, also, until it takes, turnoff your virus scan.

First, WELCOME. Second, you didn't say what browser you are using; I am using Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1 (thanks to a recomendation from someone here, I forget who) and had no problem getting the link on the toolbar. Come to think o it , I have it on my work machine (XP Professional) and it installed properly; even with the massive firewall that is in use.
