snipe didn't snipe!

What was the timing set for on the snipe? (how many seconds did you set it for)

My first guess after I looked at the auction would be that the snipe did not have enough time set on the seconds to get in. I say this because it ended on Sunday and on the hour. A normally very busy traffic time.

My lead time was only 4 seconds. bid amount was $14.

Thinbuddha is not an oxymoron. Only Chinese Buddha's are fat- buddhas from anywhere else in the world are usually thin. Sometimes downright anorexic:

I snipe 8 seconds during normal time and in SUnday,hour, half, quarter, add 15 seconds. A lot of extra traffic then and although AS trys to conpensate, you also need the extra buffer. I would say that is what happened..not enough time to place.

My apologies. I'm from the west. If you don't mind the pun - being that the auction was prime time and ending on the exact quarter hour, your lead time might have been a bit anorexic.

So 8 seconds is a pretty good lead time on days other than Sunday, eh? Fortunately, I didn't really have my heart set on this particular auction, but there are a couple comming up that I'd love to win.
