I've had a couple of my snipes cancelled. I didn't cancel them. Is there some sort of A/S defense somewhere? The most recent occurrence is 2207913304. Bums me out.
First of all, to our forum! I would not know of any reason why your snipes would be canceled, unless you are entering something wrong. Sara will look at it for you and see what she can see.
Can't tell much from the auction number really. Were these snipes set at least one bid increment above the winning bids? If not then AS wouldn't submit them but you'd should get a message to that effect.
I was reusing the bidgroup that I had created for some other thing -- under which I guess previously won something. So, I'm inferring I can't reuse those folders, right?!! Of course, how would the server know that it's a new set of stuff in that bidgroup.
My mistake (and loss).
Thanks for the help (and welcome) all. This is a great service.
We actually check for that when adding a snipe. So you cant do it. But we found through your post that we are allowing people to move it into a folder where your max # of items has been won.
So on the positive side we've added this as something we'd like to make sure cant happen anymore and program it up so it wont let you, and gives you a warning message. People in the future wouldnt have this happen to them then once we do that.
If you would, when you get time, click on the "manage folders" on your ready to snipe page. Then you will see all your folders and where you can change the number of items you need to win of that gizmo. Then is when you can reuse it after you won one. Or, you could set it up for how many you needed at the start. That would be the way to go, if you knew you were going to need XXX of those thingamagigs. It just takes a little getting used to.
If you just want a signature, go up to mypop, and profile. If you want a pix or animation..find the one you want, put the image in this box like you would to post by clicking image, pasting, and clicking ok, but don't post. Highlight it and copy...go to mypop and profile and paste it in the signature box...click submit.
